You once had to use FILM in a camera! Really! You took these little canisters, opened them up, took out a cartridge, and put it in the camera. And you could only take like 24 pictures at a time - maybe 36 if you're lucky! Then... then... you had to take this cartridge, bring it to a store, and have a store print your pictures for you. You couldn't even load them on a computer to see them beforehand! How crazy.
Now things are all fancy... you can shoot 300 pictures without breaking a sweat, you can delete a picture right after shooting it, view them on a computer before printing them, and more. But this camera is from a simpler time. The time of film.
Though it's important to note that this camera comes from the fancier days of the olde camera times. This is an APS camera, with fancy film that encodes special data on each exposure to help make better prints. Cool stuff. I thought it was so cool when I bought it. And it was. Oh yes, it was.
All mindless rambling aside, this is a great APS camera, with three orientation settings, including a panorama setting. 30-66mm zoom and digital screen, too.
